Category
Many people make the mistake of selecting the category too fast without checking if there would be a more relevant category. Take the time to go through the directory’s choice of categories and choose the most appropriate category. For some directories, where you’re not able to find a suitable category, you may even suggest a relevant category and if the directory editor finds it suitable, your site would be added under the newly created category you suggested.
E.g. A site of Web Hosting should be submitted to:
Root: Computer / Internet / Web Hosting / not in
Root: Computer / Internet /
Note:- If there is no category please give us suggestion through suggest category before posting your site and our editor will place that category

URL
Url / Domain
Not many directories are particular about the kind of url or domain you have but make sure you:
Submit the domain or url in the correct format. URL in the format of http://www.mydomain.com.
Do not submit parked domains and domains that have no content
Do not submit domains that redirect to another site.
Unless specified, only submit your home page url and not a url pointing to one of your inner pages, e.g. http://www.submittolinkdirectory.com and not http://www.submittolinkdirectory.com/index.php Also, when submitting your home page url, do not include the ‘index.***’ portion of your url.
Add a forward slash ‘/’ at the end of the url.
Sites that domains hosted on free hosting services or domains that are not registered – avoid submitting these kind of domains.
Submit To Link Directory has a policy against the inclusion of sites with illegal content. Examples of illegal
material include child pornography, libel, material that infringes any intellectual property right, and material
that specifically advocates, solicits or abets illegal activity (such as fraud or violence).
Submit pornographic sites to the appropriate category under Adult.
Submit non-English sites to the appropriate category under Regional.
Don't submit sites consisting largely of affiliate links.

Title
Please supply a short and descriptive title.
* Always opt for the official name of the site.
* Do not use ALL CAPITAL letters.
* Exclude promotional language in the title.

Description
Keep the description of your site concise - no longer than 25-30 words.A well-written, objective description will make listing your site easier.
* Do not use any HTML tags
* Write in complete sentences and/or descriptive phrases using proper grammar, punctuation and correct spelling.
o Do not use ALLCAPS in your description.
o Avoid capitalizing every word in a sentence.
o Don't repeat the title of your site in the description.
* Avoid using promotional language and strings of keywords and search terms. Words and phrases like "cool" and "best darn site" will be removed.
